About Us |
|
All of Us Are Current or Past Students We are Washington residents, neighbors, community leaders, citizens, parents and education stakeholders willing to make a difference in our community and Washington State. We are grassroots volunteers. We are ordinary civilians, striving to elevate awareness and inspire dialog among all Washington’s communities. Many of us found a voice in education advocacy through involvement in our school buildings. Many of us are parents. Many of us are members of local WA State PTA units. Many of us are members of a local school group, school district foundation, school board, or policy advisory board. Some of us are politically active, or even political activists.
We Are Not — We are not a formal organization, nor a non-profit, a for-profit, a coalition,or a business. No fundraising is being undertaken; we are each paying any expenses out-of-pocket. Please invest your capital — whether financial, political, or goodwill—where you think it makes a difference.

“We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.” Franklin D. Roosevelt |

Thanks to the generations before us, we have the luxury to choose among hard-earned luxuries bequeathed to us—we must not waste this irreplaceable privilege. We owe it to the next generation not because they deserve it more than we, but because they too should be gifted the example to inherit no less. ??? bcs |
